Synopsis
Adaptation of the book of the same name by Christian Signol.
France, 1942. Blanche and Virgile live in the free zone, along the demarcation line. Both help a local resistance network by using Virgile's boat to smuggle a growing number of refugees across the border. As the war intensifies, the couple, who cannot have children, one day offer to take in Sarah, a 10-year-old Jewish girl who is eagerly awaiting her parents...
