Synopsis
It has been 30 years since Eurostar, a train line unlike any other in the world, brought Paris to within just 2 hours and 15 minutes of London. Used by 10 million passengers each year, this European link is based on a construction that had been dreamed of for centuries and finally came to fruition in 1994: the Channel Tunnel. For the first time, a rail tunnel crossed the sea for 50 kilometers, at a depth of 75 meters.
