Synopsis
Young Lieutenant Valentine Ventura has just left the financial brigade to join the CID and finds herself working alongside the famous Captain Antoine Thomas, himself back from sick leave after a terrible car accident in which he lost the use of his legs.
The two police officers are investigating the murder of a young journalist from Nantes. A suspect is quickly arrested. Several pieces of evidence even suggest that they have finally caught a serial killer who has been operating in the region for some time.
But is this suspect really the murderer, and more importantly, is he the serial killer they have been searching for?
