Synopsis
Glenn Close, famous for her roles as atypical women who have become iconic, such as Cruella in 101 Dalmatians, is a passionate feminist activist. She inspires both through her performances and her convictions, encouraging reflection on the role of women in cinema and society.
This is the portrait of a woman who embodies neither Hollywood's ideals of beauty nor its sanitised image, an actress who represents women in their struggles, both in their social vulnerability and in their capacity for rebirth. What personal experiences has this woman had to offer such authenticity on screen? Does the actress, who describes herself as ‘made up of pieces’, draw her strength from her exceptional ability to transform herself? How does she manage to combine creativity and conviction? How does she manage to speak to all generations of women, from my own, born at the end of the last century, to that of #MeToo?
