Synopsis
In 1889, during a particularly harsh winter in a remote area of Norway. A lone shepherd and his dog wander through a hostile forest in search of his herd. After finding several reindeer massacred, he is harassed for no apparent reason by an impossible creature and visions of his past. What follows is a violent confrontation in which he has no choice but to face up to a terrible childhood trauma.
