In This Is My Body, filmmaker Jérôme Clément-Wilz revisits the abuse he suffered as a child at the hands of a Catholic priest, and documents six years of legal proceedings up to the 2024 trial. Filmed in the first person, the documentary becomes a raw, political journal: a film about trauma and memory gaps, about a body that remembers when words fail, and about the silences of family and Church that allow abuse to continue.

In our interview, Jérôme Clément-Wilz talks about filming as a way to stay alive, reclaiming his own story, and exposing the micro-stories that make up rape culture.
