Synopsis
Patching Topias is an animated essay on collapsology and theories of the collapse of industrial civilization. Interweaving documentary and autobiographical approaches, this animated film traces the various intellectual and emotional paths taken during a long journey through Collapsotopia. The film's hand-crafted, solitary production is in keeping with a desire for low-tech self-sufficiency, adapted to the context in which it was made – the first Covid pandemic lockdown – as well as to its purpose.
