Synopsis
After a year in Paris, Slim, having failed his entrance exams, is forced to return to his small village in Isère. There, he meets up with Joseph, his best friend, who has had a hard time with his departure. The reunion is a difficult one. In the summer heat, tension mounts between unspoken words and disappointed dreams.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager.
