Synopsis
As Sahar’s parents are visiting Iran for a month, the ten-year-old is left behind in Vancouver - in the care of her grandmother, Maman Zari. Sahar dreams of fitting in with a group of cool kids who ride BMX while Maman Zari suffers from homesickness. In an attempt to find solutions, Sahar and Maman Zari go on a series of adventures that reveal how precious family and cultural connection are.
