Synopsis
France, 1958. After a search, French soldiers are looking for young Messaoud, an FLN renegade "suitcase carrier." He manages to take refuge in barracks on the edge of a forest where he meets Belkacem, an Algerian like him who refuses to take part in the conflict. Belkacem welcomes Messaoud, but their points of view on the war diverge radically while outside the French soldiers are coming closer.
