Synopsis
To escape the domestic violence she is experiencing, Estelle leaves Rome with her children and arrives at her mother's house the day before a big family reunion.
All her sisters and her half-brother have come from the four corners of the world to find the family home, where Queen, the unbeatable queen mother, reigns.
After years of separation, the family will finally see their youngest member again, Marc, who left to live in the United States with their father when he was a child, following a tragic event.
In a complex mixture, Estelle and her family face the waves of the past that threaten to engulf them: traumas, secrets, old grudges and family unspeakables. Trapped in their respective roles and inner mechanisms, everyone is drawn to each other like magnets, struggling between attraction and rejection.
But the children and passing friends are there to remind them of life, of music, of dancing and of love. Laughter mixes with tears and the drama, ultimately, suddenly seems lighter.
