Synopsis
Between two housekeeping tasks, an elderly couple tell their granddaughter about their lives in Vietnam and France, during wartime. They talk about how they met, when they were twenty years old, and the rest of their lives up until today. They describe the major stages of their relationship, speaking of exile and immigration, sometimes with humor, sometimes with seriousness.
