Synopsis
The opening of communal graves enclosing the bodies of thirty men shot during the Spanish Civil War shatters the Andalusian village of Santaella. Seventy years after the events, pickax and spades wage a battle for dignity. Earth is dug and we bury ourselves deeply in the memories of the dead men's children.
