Synopsis
Summer, 1985, in France. About to die, seventy-five-year-old Madeleine receives an unexpected visit from her son Charles, to whom she refuses to reveal the truth about his origins. Charles's determination to shatter this family secret causes the old woman's buried memories about the Occupation of France to emerge in the form of songs.
