Synopsis
La Plage des Shadoks is a documentary fable that employs the absurd tone of the 1960s French cartoon Les Shadoks to tell the story of the evolution of Cap Ferret, an inexorably unstable sandbar that has suddenly become a vacation spot for the very wealthy. Ocean erosion, waste treatment, oil extraction, and real estate speculation are on the menu for a vacation that may turn out to be a bit spicy.
