Synopsis
The film follows the everyday life of a family working in a self-managed slaughterhouse in a small town in Argentina. Four years ago the slaughterhouse was about to close down but its employees took it over, restarted production and thus saved their jobs. Today they are organized in a cooperative: the employees jointly make all business decisions. Tato lives with his mother and every day he goes to work to the slaughterhouse with his relatives. He is a good and kind 20-year-old who joins his mother in church every afternoon. Carefree, he spends his free time riding his bicycle or playing his guitar. However, everything changes when he falls in love, especially after his girlfriend gets pregnant. Tato's duties in the slaughterhouse start to change, thus marking his passage into the world of grownups.
