One Deep Breath
Synopsis
One Deep Breath explores a period of grieving experienced by Maël, the main character. The film incorporates performance, poetry, and dialogue so as to transmit an explosion of thoughts, feelings, reflections, and dreams. Silence and repetition are also important elements in this work. The spectator watches the performance in real time, as though it were happening in a performance space. This film does not have a linear narrative, but requires the spectator to open up to a different experience. The film oscillates between a classical narrative and a more experimental style.
