Synopsis
Mr. Poggi dreams of becoming the mayor of his village. He is a car-body maker and right wing. With his wife, buxom Bernadette, he invites his brother- and sister-in-law, Bruno and Huguette, left-wing teachers, for Sunday lunch.
The theme of this family get together is explosive: "Who's looking after Granny at Christmas?"
The family meal can be begin... All the ingredients are ready to go into the mix: politics, inheritance issues, raising children, religion, and even drugs.
The cicadas sing, the parents shout, the children take the rap... It's the craziest day of the year and it would be a shame to miss it.
