Synopsis
Time is short for Jacob, an old American man who, knowing to be condemned by a disease, decides to return to the United States to find his daughter whom he abandoned years earlier. Jacob will have to implement everything to make this last journey, somehow or another, to find a redemption and maybe a reassurance. But this journey will not be the one that he believes.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets.
