Synopsis
Sydney, an American tourist on vacation in France, wakes up in his hotel room one morning to discover that his wife has left him. Left to his loneliness, he seems to place new hope in the neighboring room, occupied by a mysterious Chinese woman and her husband. The woman seems to need help. Sydney attempts to break through the wall separating them, striving to find the word or gesture that will enable him to reach her.
