Synopsis
French film director Paul Vecchiali reads a diary to us in which a man has conscientiously noted, throughout the years, the many ailments from which he cruelly suffered. It all begins with an asthma attack and hospitalization in Sainte-Anne psychiatric hospital in April 1952, and, over the months, a series of pains crystallizing in a cancer of the cavum treated with cobalt, to no avail. He died on August 3, 1959. We learn about the dramatic existence of Vecchiali's father.
