Synopsis
Upon the arrival of talking movies, a new generation of actresses penetrated the screens. For the greater part, they begin directly in front of the camera. These young starlettes embody with energy the modernity of the French cinema of the thirties. This movie is a journey in search of some of them: Annabella, Danielle Darrieux, Simone Simon, Jany Holt and Corinne Luchaire.
