Synopsis
Jean, eighty-five-year-old retired man, goes to the Chausey Islands in Normandy. He rents a small house there which faces the sea. It is the place where he used to go with his wife, every lasttwo weeks of June. But this year, he leaves alone.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager.
