Synopsis
The temple of the cinema Luxor, built in Paris in 1921, was transformed into discotheque, then neglected. A conducted tour of the site redraws the plan of the temple of Luxor since the papers of the Egyptologist Gaston Maspero. The film-maker Luc Moullet crosses the ruins of the nightclub Megatown in Luxor. Spatiotemporal, semantic and visual correspondences question the applied methods of application, in a set which is only a photographic reconstruction of the site.
