Plastic and Glass

Plastic and Glass

A Short film by Tessa Joosse

Produced by Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains

Production year : 2009

Synopsis

In a recycling plant in the North of France, the workers join to sing in choir, and even trucks join them and make almost a ballet. From the functioning of the prodigious machines up to the manual labor of sorting, the film shows the process of recycling. The noise which accompanies the work becomes a cadence and the sound of the factory becomes a constant rhythm.
