In working class Casablanca, Lwiyen lives on small-time schemes to make ends meet. He owes money to Omar, a corrupt policeman who wastes no time in problem solving. His childhood friend Assad is a nihilistic drunkard who dreams of returning to his homeland in the Sahara. Assad finds a video on a stolen cellphone of the rape of a woman incriminating the son of a powerful family. Assad's life takes a new turn: how can he defend this woman he has never seen, and by doing so, make it even with Lwiyen?
