Synopsis
In the year 632, the Chinese monk Xuanzang discovered colossal statues of Buddha in the Bamiyan valley of Afghanistan. In 2008, the children of the valley recount myths and legends about the tragic fate of these statues, which were destroyed by the Talibans in 2001.
