Synopsis
Paris, April 1994.
Antoine Rives, an independent journalist, shoots a reportage about people returning from Rwanda after the massacres there. He encounters Clément, a Rwandan student of Hutu origin whose Tutsi fiancee, Alice, has disappeared. Antoine convinces Clément to set out for Rwanda again to look for Alice and to let Antoine film him during the process. This "pact" quickly proves impossible given the chaos in which they both find themselves.
The horror in which Antoine finds himself makes him lose all his illusions about the craft of journalism and he wonders just how far he can keep filming and exposing human tragedy to the rest of the world.
