Synopsis
In Romania, August 15 is a major religious festival by day and a popular celebration by night. Alia, 14, is working with her mother at the village bar at the heart of the festivities. Her young brother Vlad is with them. Their mother takes advantage of the party atmosphere to have an affair with a married man. Left to their own devices, the children experience their own journeys that night in this festive and adult world.
