Dol ou la valée des tambours
Synopsis
A Turkish flag is engraved on the slope of Balliova mountain (in the valley of honey) where we can read: “Happy is he who calls himself Turkish.” In the valley, a cow stares at this flag and moos in sorrow.
Azad has come back to the village to see his fiancée. Obliged to flee, after wounding a Turkish soldier, he crosses Iraqi, and then Iranian, Kurdistan, hence sharing the destiny of other Kurds.
