Synopsis
Spain, 1940s. Manuel Rodriguez Sanchez, known as "Manolete," is the most famous of matadors. Always on the road, his life is divided between the bullring and lonely hotel rooms. Despite his huge fame, he is a serious and reserved man. However, when he encounters Lupe Sino, a beautiful and mysterious woman, his life is turned upside down.
Up until then, he'd lived his life with the sole aim of achieving more greatness in the bullring. Now he'll set out on a whole other quest.
Here is the moving story of love between a man who flirts with death and a woman who loves life.
