Synopsis
Leiden, Holland, in the 19th century. A young medical student catches a man in the strange act of coming down from the moon by a rope ladder. He follows him back to the moon, which turns out to be nothing but a large wooden ball inhabited by a strange family. It's the beginning of an incredible adventure that will finish tragically in the fire of Leiden.
