The 10th Lutin Short Film Awards ceremony was held last night at Paris’s Palais de Chaillot.
France’s national short film awards honored two films in particular this year, offering a joint Best Film award.
Le Mammouth Pobalski by Jacques Mitsch picked up the Lutin Awards for Best Film (ex aequo), Best Direction, Best Production Design, and Best Costume Design.
Le Mozart des pickpockets by Philippe Pollet-Villard won the Lutin Awards for Best Film (ex aequo), Best Screenplay and Best Editing.
Serge Riaboukine was voted Best Actor for La Leçon de guitare, while Chantal Banlier waltzed off with the award for Best Actress for Bonbon au poivre.
Le Grand Bassin by Fabianny Deschamp won the Awards for Best Sound and Best Cinematography.
The award for Best Animated Short Film went to Histoire tragique avec fin heureuse by Regina Pessoa, while L'Homme de la lune by Serge Elissalde picked up the award for Best Special Effects.
