Daniel Danite is a filmmaker. He overflows with theories about every subject under the sun. He detests video and all the other new technologies that are invading cinema art.
Nevertheless, when the shoot of his “great, classic film” is postponed and he’s offered a small digital camera, he can’t resist the temptation of filming himself. But how do you make an auto-fiction when you don’t want to show anything about your private life?
Yet, Daniel manages to, fancying himself a modern Don Quichotte, and loudly declares the death of cinema, of which he claims to be the witness.
Michel, his assistant, and Pénélope, his editor, reluctantly accompany him on this curious journey.
