Synopsis
Frankie is a 26-year-old model, “a coathanger ready for retirement.” She’s hospitalized in a peculiar rest home full of patients with wild imaginations. Just how did she wind up here?
Through a series of flashbacks, Frankie relives the major events of an existence that has wounded and damaged her, and in which she lost all sense of reality. The world of fashion and sequins isn’t always what it’s made out to be…
Frankie’s story swings between the past and present. We see Frankie lose her footing in the world of the catwalk and find it again, and start to reconstruct herself in psychiatric care, in a world more attentive to the mind than to the body…
