Synopsis
The Artic is a unique world, shaped by ice and wind. It’s a vast frozen ocean sitting on Earth’s roof, surrounded by arid lands… The ice floe is made of sea ice. The tundra: massive and desolate plains. Mountains and glaciers. It’s a world apart, inhabited by unique fauna capable of adapting to extreme, barely survivable conditions. A great reserve of fresh water for the planet, and a regulating component of the Northern Hemisphere’s climate, the Artic, a fragile world, is now under threat. Will it disappear when we’re only just beginning to discover all its wonders?
