Synopsis
Amal is a 12-year-old girl who lives in the Moroccan countryside. Each day she gets up at dawn and walks with her brother to the village school situated several miles from their farm. A serious and dedicated pupil, Amal dreams of becoming a doctor - until the day her parents decide she will no longer be attending school.
