Synopsis
An early morning walk. A young woman, who has come to wait for is brother at the Star Ferry terminal, begins to walk around Hong Kong Bay. In the course of a long monologue, she reveals the construction of a unique moment, a melancholic combination of solitary presences, maritime architecture and early morning tranquillity. Here, all sorts of people begin their day, each in his own way, each alone. This is a scenic dimension of the city, the way in which she transforms and dramatizes each individual, who is at the heart of the film. But, also -via this monologue- how each person continually devises his expectations, his itinerary and his feelings when confronted with the intensity and vastness of a coastal city.
