Synopsis
Five hired killers: Francis, the leader; Louis, who’s seen them all grow up and who’s getting paranoid with middle age; Victor, dangerous with his hands and addicted to TV; M’sieur, the apprentice, whose only love is his Tamagochi; Marchand, whose wife keeps him on track, enables him to keep his bearings. She thinks he’s a traveling shoe salesman. He leaves Monday, is back Friday and they spend the weekend tallying up the number of pairs he’s sold. Until the day she discovers the truth. During the stormy discussion that follows, Marchand, more out of professional habit than anger, whacks her so hard that she falls in a coma. Hospital. Diagnosis: she could come to in five minutes or five years. Or perhaps never. Marchand can’t believe it. Five minutes later she’s still out, it looks as though she’s heading for a five year haul… He’ll be back. During one of his visits, he becomes convinced that if he makes up for his past, she’ll wake up. He’s no longer available… Not only is he hanging up his gun, he’s also going to save those destined to be his next victims. His redemption begins. But it’s not so easy to walk out of a killer’s job. From now on, Marchand is top of Francis and his pals’ hit list.
