Synopsis
In the industrial town of Bradford, England, Richard has inherited the family undertaking firm. Which means his life is not always sunny. But during one funeral, Richard exchanges glances with a woman who is an absolute dream. Unbelievably, she speaks to him: her name is Barbara, she's from California, and she's only in town for the day. Once this beauty has left, the glumness of Richard's life weighs more heavily than ever. Although he's never lived outside of Bradford, Richard hops on the first plane heading for Los Angeles.

About
This film is not a documentary about Hollywood. The movie capital is just the setting for a story, a human adventure that appeals to universal feelings. It's a contemporary love story in which modest folks struggle to succeed – the personal story of a European who survives in Hollywood, a path not unlike my own.
