Synopsis

About
Madeleine comes from the dreary urban fringe, bearing her cross like a yoke, seeking chance thrills in stray looks and flashes of desire in advertising flyers. Riding the subway in from the edge of town to fix the hems on uninspired clothes for ordinary strangers, she puts her pennies aside and dreams of one day finding someone who’ll deal her a new hand. Her life is draining away and she’s not in it. Gabriel, Thomas, Paul, Jacques, Marie, Eve and Momo... help Madeleine to get a life.
