    About

If I had an ambition in "Our Happy Lives" it was to pay a personal tribute to a few people I claim to know. I transformed them into fiction heroes to do justice to their beauty, to the humiliations they have gone through, to the laughable battles they have fought, to the hope that buoys them despite everything. These characters answer only to themselves but it is the fragile bonds "we" have managed to create together which give me the arrogance and naivete to consider myself one of them. May others also be able to recognize themselves in them too.
