For weeks, television, radio and newspapers have been announcing it: tonight will be no ordinary evening. For the last time before the year 2000, the moon will enter the earth's shadow for an extraordinary eclipse. Below ground, strange creatures advance according to a plan etched on parchment. The next morning, David's dog brings home an old document found in the street. David soon meets the strange Babels, and is caught up in a dizzying adventure. The countdown has already begun.

About
"There's nothing more amazing than making people dream! Directing a fantasy film means going into a pure dream state. Re-reading the Biblical story of the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11: 1–9) raised some of my own questions about the world, because the vanity, human folly and mad scramble for power it recounts are still with us. You just have to look around—wars, pollution, media madness. That's why I invented the adventurous story of a little boy and his schoolteacher who encounter a strange and wonderful people, the Babels, who have come to protect the planet.
(Gérard Pullicino, Director)
