Synopsis
A filmmaker meets a woman. From time to time, with his video camera, he films snippets of their life. He gradually comes to the realization that he is not simply capturing memories but making a movie. He asks his partner for permission to continue... After a year of shooting, 75 minutes of edited video is ready. He finds himself a good TV screen and films the images with a 35 mm camera. However things are more complicated than they seem : only simplicity of form in video gives powerful cinematic images...

About
"This, Alain Cavalier's eleventh feature, is a real gem. Don't go see it. It's not for you. It' s for me. What I mean is : it's a film which strikes up such a singular and personal relationship with each individual viewer, that's it's almost incongrous to speak of exchange views with anyone except perhaps the person you love.(...)"
(Jean-Michel Frodon - Le Monde)
