About
"There comes a day when, for better or for worse, everyone feels the urge to commit a murder. The urge to kill your boss, your neighbour, your oldest friend, your wife! Happily, in the majority of cases, such desires remain in the realm of fantasy. "Everything Must Go" tells of a man's attempts to act out his fantasy, a man really not cut out for murder. Humour, derision, the absurd; such is the palette of this film which has no other pretensions than to entertain. All its actors hail from a non-cinema milieu: TV, theatre, one-man shows, song... and with the exception of Didier Bourdon, here make their genuine cinema debut. For me, this was a means of giving a refreshing and innovative tone to "French comedy" which was what drew me to Philippe Le Dem's screenplay in the first place..." (Philippe Muyl)
