About
During the mixing of “Allegre ma non Troppo” in London in January 1994, I got to meet some Spanish expatriates. The idea of a person who spends his life abroad appealed to me, and a few weeks later I went back to London with Joaquin Oristrell to start work on the script. We lived in a small rented apartment in the suburbs of South London, the kind of lodgings where only poor families, old people and immigrants lived. This is where our main character, Olivia, was born. (Fernando Colomo - excerpt from press kit)
