    About

"The character of Valérie gave me a totally free rein. When Benoît Jacquot offered me the part, I was enthusiastic about it even though I was a little apprehensive about having the camera follow me for an hour and a half. In fact, I soon started having fun with it. It became an actor in the film. I'm happy that "A Single Girl" has been so well received, both in France and abroad. The film deals with the working world in a surprising way and with a great deal of humour. That's what makes it so powerful."
