Synopsis
This film is a free interpretation of real and historical events, revealing the magical, yet unknown world of the 18th century's greatest castratos. Castratos possessed a mythical status were adored by the masses and provoked intense emotional shocks in their audience. We have chosen to tell the story of two brothers - Carlo and Riccardo Broschi. Riccardo was a composer, and Carlo rose quickly to stardom as "Farinelli", the greatest castrato of all times. His legend was equaled only by that of Malibran in the 19th century or Callas in the 20 th century.
