Cannes 2003: Official Selection

The official selection for the 56th Cannes International Film Festival was unveiled Wednesday, April 23. This year 20 films, including 5 French productions, are in the running for the Palme d’Or.

"Strayed" ("Les Egarés") by André Téchiné
"Tiresia" by Bertrand Bonello

Out of Competition
"Les Triplettes de Belleville" by Sylvain Chomet
"Qui a tué Bambi?" by Gilles Marchand

Un Certain Regard
"En Jouant ‘Dans la compagnie des hommes’" by Arnaud Desplechin
"Stormy Weather" by Solveig Anspach

On May 14, it will be "Fanfan la Tulipe" by Gérard Krawczyk that will open this 56th Cannes Festival (out of competition).
