Synopsis

A husband and wife, after having an explosive argument, take off in separate directions. Each assumes that the other will return and take care of the kids, so neither rushes back home. However, it is their oldest daugher Laurette who is attending to her siblings and keeping the household running. To extend this period of parent-free living, Laurette tells a few small lies, making everyone believe that all is well. Meanwhile, she is getting closer to a certain Lucien...
